FYI: this is posted in the ITR forum also, but figured I would ask other Integra owners as well

I purchased an aftermarket oem metal hood for my Type R and I put it on last night, but I can't get it to latch all the way down. We tried moving sided to side and as far forward as possible, but it will not latch all the way down, it locks but won't go all the way down. Have any of you had this problem? I removed my carbon fiber hood like 2 minutes before putting this hood on and it latched perfectly fine, is it possible that the latch mechanism broke??

i do know that some of the hoods that are aftermarket require a gen2 hood latch rather than a gen3.......take a look at the size differences on the metal bar on both hoods that gets latched onto......if it is too short then you can try to adjust the latch to the proper height on the radiator supprt.. only 3 bolts i think they are 10 or 8mm......
