is password jdm as reputable as hmotors or should i just stick with hmotors if i get a gsr swap?

 

I have yet to hear any complaints about hmotors yet. They treated me well. I have also dealt with password, they were ok too, but I have heard a few complaints. I would say go with Hmotors.

 

the reason i ask is because for the full gsr on hmotors its 3150 and it says that is with STOCK mounts which will not work in a 92-95 civic and the full gsr on password is 3300 with mounts for a 92-95 civic. both prices plus shipping so should i do hmotors and buy mounts later or go with password and already have the mounts with the motor? thanks for the help

 

Password is CRAP compared to HMO. If you want to use this motor as a build motor and its never going in your car then by all means get it because its cheaper. But if you plan on running it stick with HMO.

 

you need to call HMO about those mounts, i thought that the mounts they come with are the ones you need for the swap.

 

stock gsr mounts work for 92-95, don't know who told you they didn't but they're wrong

 

I think jdmsource.ca is top tier and also has some of the lowest prices you will find. I've gotten 3 engines from them and customer service is second to none. Definitely worth checking out.

Actually password and HMO both get their motors from the same source. The only difference is the service that will be there if something happens which HMO will take care of.

 

Well lets not be narrow minded now, there are a lot more companies out there than just those two, and if I spot a good deal on something, I'm gonna make it known.

That could be true but once they get the motors and taking care of them is totally different. I have never had a good motor come from Password.

I know 2 people who both bought h22s from hmotors, both said came clean as **** and looked brand new and great sevice. id say check them out, also JDMsource.ca is another great place. If all else fails check out jazzproparts.com hear alot of good things from them as well.

 

i agree go with HMO i delt with them and the service is awesome, motor was clean as hell and i dropped it in and drove the **** out of it with out any problems

 

HMO is your best bet, ive had close friends who have ordered numerous motors from HMOTORS. i havent dealt with passwordjdm so i cant tell you about them.

i have had my jdm b16a from HMO for about 4 years still runs perfect and burns no oil, I have put 90k on it and it's still great

 

I'd rather pay the little bit of extra money to get what Hmotors has to offer.

Even if it was $400-500 cheaper somewhere else, I'd STILL buy from Hmotors.

 

I love HMotors..........I bought a JDM D15B from them and here is a pic of how I got it.....CLEAN AS HELL!!! All I did was take the wraping off.

oh yeah. my friend bought a B16 and it arrived in similar condition. I'm pretty sure they powerwash the **** out of the motors before shipping them out.

no offense to Passjdm. i had very bad experience with you guys. please improve your customer service.

 

hmotors is good, they apply the lube in large amount before *** raping you.

It's really a pleasant experience.

~1000 for a D15, lol.
