well, i called up vortech yesterday asking about the aftercoolers... i want to get an SI cooler since the gsr's havent came out yet (no prob with a lil custom work). problem is... its $1800!! thats nearly as much as a turbo! anyone know what i can do to get my air MUCH MUCH colder... =| thanks guys

 

why didnt u just spend the extra few hundred bucks and get an SI kit with the cooler?

 

not sure, but i dont believe the SI kit would have fit "as peachy" as the GSR...

 

Forgive me if i'm wrong, but doesn't the vortec have a tub that goes from the charger to the tb? Why not get some custom tubing made and run a standard intercooler off of something like a volvo or dsm or anyother turbo cars you can find in a junk yard with a stock ic?
