Finally got the 11.75 4 piston brakes on the Teg...
After supplying people with the 11.75 kits for the past 4 months, I finally managed to get one put on my own car. With the billet calipers I only had to remove about 2 mm of material from the edge of the calipers to fit under my 15" Rota C8's without having to use the 3mm wheel spacers. It's a tight fit, but once you have clearance it won't change. Very much improved brake modulation over the ITR caliper setup I had on there. Pedal feels more firm than with the ITR calipers...Overall braking is much less effort, and the ITR Spec was really excellent in that regard. I can't post a pic, but if anyone wants to see them I can send you one.

Hey there Brian, I am getting ready to install the SpecR kit on my teg soon, I have the 98+Accord V6 front calipers, and your rotors did arrive late last week. I just have a couple questions for ya. I think I have everything figured out going into the install, but (1)Do you not need to install the brake disc retaining screws into the new rotors(if they even fit that is?)? If not, is this ok, I mean are they really not necessary and the rotors will stay securely mounted, or 'retained', onto the hubs without them? (2)And Just for complete clearity, if you have those pics of exactly where(and how much) the material needs to be removed off the inside of the caliper, then can you email them to me please? I think this would help me out, prepare me a bit more, before going into the install. And if there is anything else, or any other tips, that you can think of then I would love to hear it. Thanks, and I look forward to this mod, and hearing from you.
The screws are not used to hold the rotors to the hubs. I'll email you a pic of where to remove material tonite.

With the billet calipers they can be trimmed a bit more than what I did to fit them in the stock wheels. Due to the tighter fit of the stock wheels you would have to run the 3mm wheel spacers, which means you should use longer wheel studs.
There is only 2-3mm of clearance with the C8's, but that's all you need...

Hey Peter, just go to his website(fastbrakes.com), it has the prices and info. I just recently installed his 'SpecR' front ITR conversion on my 99GSR, and it is sweet. You have to find/buy the calipers, but they are fairly easy to find at junkyards, just call around, although sometimes he supplies them when he can find some. I used the 98+ Accord V6 front calipers, but you can also use the type-R, previous gen Prelude VTEC calipers and I think also the early Accord wagon front calipers, they are all essentially the same, and all need a bit of modification/shaving of the inside part of the caliper braket but its really easy to do and doesnt take that long, after that its a direct bolt on. Just talk to Brian at fastbrakes if you have any questions, he's a good guy and should help you out, enjoy.
