take off the cable tranny, stick a hydro clutch on it, and bolt up the hydro tranny

can't really be more detailed.......you basically take the cable transmission off the motor, take off the clutch, replace it with a hydro clutch, and then bolt up the hydro tranny and drop it in.

what else do you want me to say? you want to me to whip out a helms and give the guy the torque specs for all the bolts? assuming he has the correct mounts for his car and his car is hydro tranny (since we're in the 92-00 forum that is a safe assumption) he shouldn't have to get anything but a hydro tranny and a hydro clutch. unless of course i'm wrong in which case you could correct me

just get the full clutch pedal assembly from the junk yard with the master cylinder, slave cylinder and hard line. or you can do a stainless steel braided line if you want. that along with the transmission, clutch(splines are different) and a cable to hydro tranny mount conv. it should be a drop in affair.

thanks that was good enough info for my friend.....his tranny took a **** on him and he needed a tranny. so i had a 96 civic ex tranny laying around that he can use, he has a crx which is why he wants to know if it would be a hassel doing the conversion..but base off what you said it doesnt seem difficult just need to find the stuff at the junk yard...
