I have a factory installed alarm in my '05 civic....and recently it seems my alarm stopped working. when i hit my lock button on my remote the alarm doesn't start and the headlites do NOt flash either, and same when i hit my unlock button. it seems my alarm doesn't work either anymore ...BUT when i hit my panic button the alarm goes off but besides that it doesn't work anymore......what can i do to fix it?? is there something i can do with the remote to enable the alarm again? (just incase if i disabled it) and also i do not have power locks on it so the remote only controls the alarm

have u tried changing the battery in ur remote?

 

yes.......the batteries are brand new but still no luck
