hi,

I need some help with the wiper blades on my sedan.
90% of the time the right (drivers side in this country) hits the beading on the edge of the windscreen.

I have put in shorter ones but I get the same thing. I tried even puting even shorter ones in and still they knock the beading but lower down.

If I try a just the wiper blade and make it lower when its "parked" on the windscreen the join in the wiper where you can bend it up knocks my hood when I try to open it.

any suggestions?

sounds like your wiper ARMS are switched to me. shorter arm should be on the drivers side along witht he shorter blade.

 

cant be as the drivers side arm has the wind scoop thing. which is always mounted on the drivers side.

 

huh? what wind scoop thing? thats probably aftermarket since iv never seen one stock before. is the drivers side arm shorter or longer than the passenger side arm on your car?

 

really? they as common as dirt here on all the sedans and civic's up form 88 to 2005

I think the problem is the posesion of the blade on the motor
