Default Windshield Wipers blades/arms which goes where?

Silly question, but one of my wiper blades broke during heavy rain, which made me macgyver it so that at least my driver side worked to get home. I mix/matched them a few times so it could wipe but now i've forgotten which goes where.

Which side does the longer arm go to?
Which side/arm does the longer blade go/connect to?

No. Sadly.
You have a fifty/fifty chance to get it right on the first try and it should only take 2 tries MAX to do it.

Critical thinking and problem solving skills-definitely NOT taught in schools any longer.

When I painted them a couple of months back, I screwed up the first time, got it the second time yes; but didn't memorize the length of which goes where and I didn't want to be in my work parking lot in the dark guessing on it earlier, which is why I made this thread.

IT DOESN'T MATTER!!!
You have a long arm and a short arm. A long blade and a short blade. That one ALL BY ITSELF should have been easy.
Then you have a left side and a right side. Here's where the 50/50 thing comes in. Install them. Whooops! On the wrong sides? Swap them around. Now everything is in the right place. You don't have to memorize which side is which. Jeez.

God it must be nice to know everything about everything. It also must feel real good to make people feel stupid all the time like so many of your posts do. Have you ever thought about not commenting in peoples thread if you want to be a dipsh@t? I mean, just READ the thread instead of commenting if you have to make people feel small. Oh wait...you like to boost your post count. Sorry...almost forgot.

Do you ever offer advice WITHOUT the smart *** attitude?

Never. Especially when it's something as ridiculous as this. But it does feel good to know things. That would come from spending time researching, reading and spending more time in the tech forums than the Appearance and GDD forums and the Marketplace learning nothing.

Seriously? This is a square peg round hole question.

Does it feel good being part of the H-T community for so long and have such a LOW post count? Giving back to the community are we? Helping out anyone with an issue in those seven years? Anybody else want to attack me?

The driver side wiper arm usually has a longer link from where it bolts to the wiper transmission to the point where it pivots (if that makes sense). And yah the longer blade goes on the driver side.

Wonder if in the history of wiper-dom there was ever a larger blade on the passenger side than the driver side.
