Instead of an intake I would reccommend a K&N drop in filter. You'll probably see no discernable difference from the intake. Also will keep water from getting into your engine and hydro locking it. Do a search, lots of horror stories, and I bet it rains a lot where you are. As far as performance, we don't see as much as the si and vtec guys do with basic bolt ons. However, check over in the accord forums for opinions and dyno sheets.

a bit. its not where its from, its who its made by and how good of a job in designing and building it!

I have an ebay dc-s header just to replace my fucked up stock one while i save up for a FI system. Its lasted 2 months without any problems. On the h23 you get pretty good gains with almost any aftermarket header due to h23's inefficient design

Slap on a eBay header on the F series and you'll get some gains. Decent ones...

I have an eBay header on my H22...Its just a replacement until I boost.

your not wasting your time ... you can make anything fast... i got a f22 a1 no vtek and it's sohc... i love tellin people when they ask what i'm runnin cause their eager to race and i'm kickin @$$ with my car... just do what you feel and hook it up... mabey you don't got the horses a h22 or b18c5 has but their is more then one way to make a car go fast... and i'm not even boosted... someday i'll get a nice h22 but till then work with what you got... and once i do put a h22 in this puppy it will be that much faster then it is... alls i'm sayin is it doesn't matter what your runnin you can make it quick but you'll for sure have to put bolt on and others in there... it's not all about horsepower it's about weight, engine, transmission, to , it's the whole package... work on your whole package and you'll be supriseing h22's and other vteks all day long... i like my f22

One of the only options I've seen for intake manifolds on F22/H23:

themurrell your F22 is not going to gain much of anything from bolt-ons, despite how many times or how many people you may ask. Wrapping the intake does nothing, a cam gear will do nothing except let you move the current power band up and down (on your SOHC). You also cannot say "Oh, a header adds 8hp", it doesn't work like that...it's not a video game.

If you really want to spend money on bolt-ons for that engine, go ahead and get an intake, header and exhaust, and then if you want more a crank pulley (other pulleys do nothing), flywheel, maybe nitrous and some tuning. But in the end you just won't be able to do much with it without some crazy high-compression build or forced induction. A bigger cam would help some also, but to really make power from that you have to adjust everything else to work along-side the cam (compression, headwork, etc.).

I hope nobody takes that seriously. It sounds like some high-school kid who thinks his intake means he can beat anything. His name is gonjapuff, so he probably gets baked and thinks his car is a super-fast race car!!!1 with the stereo cranked up.
