i need some torque specs....

Default i need some torque specs....

for my b18a1. i had to change my head. does anyone know the torque for the head studs and the cam straps? or do you know of an internet site that lists those torques? thanks.

bunp....its pretty hard to beleive that no one knows these torque specs. i need these and only these to put my motor back together. someone please help.

Im going to assume you mean the cylinder head BOLTS, since that is whats used stock.

Anyway, use a 2 step sequence on the head bolts. First, TQ them all to 22 lb/ft, then TQ them all to 61 lb/ft.

The cam straps/caps should be tightened to 7 lb/ft.

All this info is direct from Honda.

i have arp head studs....is it the same tq? im assuming they are. thanks for the help combustion. im not sure why there are ******** who just look for reasons to burn ppl on here. if they would stop spending time looking for posts that they can rip on, then they might have more time to work on their POS themselves.

make sure you use that moly lube on the nut base and threads..torque to 65ftlbs

No, ARP studs and OEM bolts are different TQ values. When using the lube that comes with ARP's studs, they call for 75 lb/ft, but a few people i know bump that figure to 80.
