Default Newer D17 into an EK?

Basically the thread asks the question itself all I'm curios about is how much fabrication is recquired and is it plug and play to a point because i can find one of these cheaper that a D16 for my EK.
I know there is a thread asking the basic same question because i saw it before but cant find it now...
edit: sorry for the lack of info the motor is from an 04 LX

X2

The motors themself arent impressive, compared to what you can do for any D16 motor, their VTEC-E. Plus they woudlnt be a direct swap because the tranny's are cable, and i believe the motor is drive by wire. Not really worth it IMO.

My friend just bought an (I think) '05 LX and it's a completely different motor. I don't know how it would wire up .

Not sure what motor the LX has but point is they changed the tech a lot...

Want a D17? Bore your D16 out .1L .

they are also distributorless (sp) and have a returnless fuel system
wiring would be a bitch to say the least

get it for the crank, then put it in a D16 with the suzuki vitara pistons. (since they're short.) 10.5:1 in a Z6. That would be a good nitrous motor, but couldn't rev too high. 1.45 r/s
