Default Looking for all motor opinion...

I have a B16b in a Ek hatch. I am looking for the best way to make more power. I have a full exhast and intake. Has anyone used the toda spec d/c or the spoon race cams. Does anyone have any suggestions to make more power. What is the best intake manifold to use? has anyone used the aebs. Also what is a good all motor throttle body? Looking in to buying a new header, i like the titanuim look, but which one would yeild the most horsepower.

Why did you pick the smallest displacement DOHC honda engine to go all motor with?

Save your money and swap an ITR block onto that. THEN look into going n/a

Fixed.

IF, he swaps motors, it'll be much more worthwhile to get a whole ITR longblock than just a gsr block with his existing b16 head.

making his b16b make power like a b18c5 will cost a LOT more than the cost of a c5.

Oh yeah i know, i was talking about a b18c block. If he was going to change the bottom at all mine as well save the cash, but if he is keeping it stock yeah C5 all the way def.

b18c crank and rods
rm m22x cams
ported head
ported stock intake manifold
toda header
3'' intake
velocity stack
4.9fd
tune

potential for 200whp, and it'll be fun to drive around

just a little clarification, if he does indeed have a b16b, it's basically a destroked b18c5. all he needs are b18c rods and crank and he'll basically have a b18c5, with b16b stamped on the block.

huh, that should have occurred to me. I totally missed the B at the end of b16.
