Default b18 into an EF (tranny)

Can I use any B series tranny if I want to put a b18a or b18b? And will the 90-93 LS shift linkage fit right in? Has anyone come across any other problems or tricks that i might be able to use? thanks.

As long as it's a cable tranny and it isn't Automatic, yes. I believe you still have to modify the shift linkage though.

all b series trannies fit all b series motors. the shift linkage will work but you will need to cut it and weld it, its too long.

yeah 90-93 integra cable trannies are the ones. but the shift linkage will not work. you will need a custom linkage. usually it depends on where the motor sits and different mount kits sit the motor differently. basically buy the linkage with your mounts. hth

You just have to match the clutch disk to the tranny. 90-91 is different than 92-93.

you need an adjustable shift linkage, 90-93 teg axles and intermediate shafts work fine w/ everything. take out dust shields in hubs
