Hi!!

I have a B16A JDM 1st Gen (OBD-0) using two single wire O2 Sensors. I want to know what american spec Honda or Acura car model (model and year) uses the same sensors so I can order them over the internet?

 

You won't find the 2nd O2 here in the states. Primary on is the same as any other 88-91 Honda.

 

Is it possible to cut and splice in a different harness, ie. two of the primary style O2 sensors in order to replace the secondary? Or will it not thread into the fitting on the header?

In my engine, both O2 sensors look like the same. Do somebody knows if the 89-91 O2 sensors for US Acura will fit too?

 

dude, i got the JDM b16a and broke one of my sensors.

i wnet to a wrecker and matched it to the same as teh one as on teh 99 Civic engine...

make sure it has the smae marking on it - mine had NGK on it

PLUS make sure you get TWO of about the same age,

i have one that is 10 yrs older than teh other one and this makes the idle swing a bit as they both try and correct each otehr...

Dude, all 92+ Honda/Acura have 4 wire 02 sensors, so I don't see how you got the same 02 sensor as the JDM 1 wire 02 sensor....go ahead and just find any 88-91 Honda/Acura 1 wire 02 sensors.
