my understanding is that every bottom end had a different clearence tolerence..If you just check the block, it will tell you..I wouldnt wanna go throwing green bearings in a block that calls for brown though..If you not sure then just mic the clearences and run clevites..there also a good bearing..

i am good. living in florida now, but im back in the tri cities area from time to time. DO NOT use just all green bearings. you need to have the clearances dialed in.

i've seen too many failed acl bearing engines..including my own before i knew any better.
the 'once size fits all' DOES NOT APPLY HERE. acl's are one size.
honda sells all those colors for a reason
just use what your block/crank and your crank/rod says to use, 1 size looser is what i've been seeing done lately, done it to my last setup, turned 9700rpm for over 2 years with it seeing the track 2 nights a week during the summers
eagles are all 3's in case you need to know
my crank's rod journals was all c's (rods all 3s) so was 1 color all across, but my crank mains were 5 different colors...used a 98 crank in a 94 block..no problems
