i have a b18b and i wanted to put a b16 head on it and hook my turbo kit up to that so it will be lsvtec turbo but one of my friends says it will blow up if i do that and says you cant make a lsvtec turbo cause it makes it a high compression motor is he right and is this a waste of time??

Ugh, where to start.

It's not as simple as you're making it sound. Do some research and get back to us.

you need new friends. preferably people that know how an engine works.

you also need lots of research.

boosted LSV is a touchy subject, I think.
a friend has that setup in his hatch.
tune tune tune
even with that, hes got the motor ripped down every six months.

15 lbs on a t3/t04 is WAY different than 15 lbs on a t4 garret.

Do a little more research so you make sure you get what will make you happiest.
