JDM GURU'S: jdm 4 door 1 piece headlights - how to install in my (usdm) 91 si?
.....I've heard these will fit, but with some modifications.
What exactly?
I've heard everything from full SiR conversion to just modding the fenders or jdm front bumper and hood.....
Here's the pics of the goods:

..Nice lights there Ken
You'll have to do some minor work with the fenders...but thats it as far as I know
also the USDM bumper will work with the filler also..sooo I guess that would have to use a US hood or one that Has the SiR style with the US head lights ..?
anyone else

No way a bolt on or do it yourself'r....unless you are a body shop employee.....good luck......If you want a different front end I suggest to just get an JDM SiR front end.......
It is definitely a custom job.....I believe you have mod the fenders, hood, bumper, to make it all look right.......Just imagine a headlight conversion.

I don't want a different front end, I want headlights and turn signals in one clean integrated unit...
I hate the 2-piece design that was so prevalent in the '90's..... Anyway, if I have to convert to SiR or do some custom work that's fine...
Anyone else?

Its not as simple as buying a JDM front end and slapping them in. These headlights were designed for the 4g JDM CIVIC 4door. Now I dont know if you have seen a 4door's bumper but they are a bit differnt then ours. That headlight is not as tall as ours, and a small spacer will have to go below the bumper and the headlight. Now for the fenders, Yes their will be some modifcation their also, I am sure some filler etc, will be needed. This is not a bolt in deal, trust me I looked into it, I mounted one up in my car and was like damn, that to much crap to do!

This is my brothers JDM Civic, with 1 peice lights, see the little strip underneith the bumper and headlights? you will have to add one of those.

then, besides the strip and the fender modification, is that it? Was there any modification to the hood? I wonder how the crx hood compares to the civic hood and grille. I like the look of that.
How much were the headlights?
How much were the headlights?
Ken,
do oyu already have them in your posession? IF so, could you stick them in, without any modification so I can saee what it looks like?

Not in my posession at the moment.....
I haven't been trying to mess with them for a while, but I'll keep at it one of these days.

theres a purple CRX with 92 Teg front end (semi wrap around lights that year) and he also has the DA teg 1 piece headlights TALK about loooonger headlights.
to fit the 4dr headlights into your car is a custom job, which requires modifications to the fenders and bumper....heres a few snap shots of mine back in 99'-00':
