what would be better for an RSX engine or turbo? i say all engine but im gonna ask you guys to let me know whats better thanks
all motor you need to do all the head polish and etc etc all bolt ons, but need to know how to build it, turbo i would say depends on what kind of kit you put on and how you build your motor you dont want to throw in a turbo and then with the time u'll end up blowing it , personatly i would go all motor.
also depends on how much power and $$$ u want to spend. Turbo will get u lots of gains for a relativley small amount of money compared to building ur engine all motor, with all the porting and stroking ect. ect.
Besides the money and work involved to do each, it comes down to what kind of power delivery you want.
If you want instant response, you just can't beat all-motor. If you're willing to wait a second or so for more peak power, go with turbo.
Those differences matter when you're racing -- or, specifically, where you're racing. Instant throttle response can make it much easier to get the chassis to respond to the throttle, which makes more of a difference in turns when you're trying to balance the car. I'd go all motor -- or maybe a Roots or twin-screw blower -- for autocrossing and whatnot.
If you're drag racing, you don't need throttle response, just push the pedal against the firewall. Going faster means more power, and more power means turbo.
