Default Itr ecu on a b16a2

I have an integra type r ecu and I want to use it on my 1999 si. I am worried If I go into the redline too much will my motor blow? Also are there any benifits from using the ecu over my stock one?

There's actually no advantage of using an ITR ECU on a B16.

Yeah there is, you get higher numbers (rated in $) when you visit the gas pump.

You know what the ITR ECU is made for? The ITR.
You knwo what the B16 ECU is made for? The B16.

You're talking about completely different cams, completely different air/fuel mixtures, completely different redline.

Your motor WILL blow if you hold it to the ITR redline.

You will gain NO advantage by using the ITR ECU.

It's the same idiots that put P72 (GSR) ECU's in D16Z6's (which use the P28) thinking they're gonna pick up 20hp, maybe they pick up 1 and their gas mileage drops by 6. Gah, use the right ECU for the right car unless it's chipped, flashed, or has a piggyback.
