Default different computers

There was a different computer swapped into my car before I bought it, he said something about a bad ground, but I swapped it back in and the car runs fine

my question is what do the letters on the computer stand for? the stock one was a "du" and the one he had swapped in says "lg" anyone know what its supposed to be for?

What letters?

There's a ton of them. Should be a long string with a barcode under it.

Well, they're both 5-speed ECU's ... I have no idea what the big letters are for, what you really gotta look at is those last 6 digits:

P2E = CX ECU

And those last three usually determine if it's manual or automatic. Both those numbers happen to be Manual.
