From my understanding none of the CX models came with PS but the rest did. Might be wrong though.

just wondering but why remove PS? it is very nice to have for DD and no PS sucks in a tight parking lot. i always use the moto function over form.

Which cars had power steering doesn't have to do with the year of the car. It has to do with the trim level of the car.

The CX did not have power steering. The DX (coupe and hatch at least) had it as an option. Other trims should have it standard.

As a side note, the power steering rack is tighter and has a shorter turning radius.
