ABS light
Hi, my brother recently bought an ITR which is nice and all. But now he told me that his ABS light has been on ever since he bought the car.
What are all the possible causes for this? Thx in advance.

As my best friend Jerry Maquire once said, "help me help you".

If you can learn to do what is in the link I provided, hopefully you can learn to use the search function.

As per what's exactly wrong with your brothers car we will not know till you can read the codes and that either needs to jump the port with the paperclip or your own harness or an OBD2 port reader/diagnostic tool. Just had mine read and serviced for the first time ever a few weeks back. I didn't have the light on but it did have codes saved over the years of use, service and abuse. When we serviced the rear rotors we noticed a build up of rust on and near the ABS sensor that might have contributed to my codes.
Best of luck.

Thx for all the input here guys, I really appreciate it. And I'd like to say sorry for the search issue, but as most of us here know, the search here on HT isn't exactly stellar. But you guys've helped me out a lot.
