New Head
Ok, I need a little help. this past week I have done a lot of work to my 92 civic D16Z6. Rebuilt head, greddy head gasket, aem cam gear, alum rad, headers, hoses, belts, coil-overs, dis cap, wires. My problem is when I crank it up it turns over for less than a second and dies. also my speedometer jumps up between 30 and 40 miles an hour. The cel is on but not showing any codes, maybe I'm not checking it right, but it also has a slight humming noise coming from behond the gauge cluster. Could this be a timing issue?
Update: The timing belt was to tight which was causing the cel. Now it will not turn over at all. Does anyone have anytips on how to keep the crankshaft from turning when putting the timing belt on or should I just over compensate for it.
