Honda recommended sizes of tires to minimize those changes when upgrading.
Also in the navigation control settings u can adjust for different wheels etc

GPS Satellites tell the car where it is (in numerical terms) and the car access the DVD to put a stored representation of your position (based on the numbers rec'd from the Satellite) on you screen. Tires are a non issue.

Honda Navi uses both GPS satellites to pinpoint location a well as an yaw rate sensor to keep track of vehicle direction and the speed sensor to calculate distances traveled. Anything that will change the speedo will have an impact on the navigation. As long as the OP gets the tire size reccomended by honda with the HFP wheels he'll be fine.

If you use the recommended tires on the sticker that comes along with your HFP rims, the radius of your wheel with tire is gonna be the same as your current wheel with tire.

so basically...changing tires affects the calculations of the navi system...pretty crazy...so how about adding a turbo to your car?

turbo doesn't affect the VSS or speedometer..
changing wheel and tire size has had this effect on speedos since the beginning of time. some of you ask your fathers or your local mustang guys about changing speedo gears or gearboxes to make the speedo work correctly with different sized wheels/tires.
Since the Navi uses signal from the speedo/VSS, then it is similarly effected.
