My year 96 B18C Type R smooking when VTEC kick in over 6k rpm, what happen? I'm using Motul 5w30, & i found it is some leaking out from the solenoid wire. My water tank water level very normal, no consuption, just only engine oil is losting, is engine internal problem or my engine oil too thin? should go for 5w40? or will 5w50 to heavy for VTEC?
I'm not sure my eninge got knocking or not coz knocking sensor disable & I don't know how is the physic feeling of eninge knocking. Can anyone advice?

 

Look into worn valve seals and leaking piston rings. 90% internal

 

smoking during WOT is most likely a ring problem. adjust your valves and do a compression and leakdown test to help narrow it down.

I know english is probably your second language and it's understandable, but I think you need to explain what's going on a little further.

When you're driving, crossover to VTEC... You're getting a puff of smoke? or is it just pouring out smoke the whole time you're in VTEC? How much smoke is it? What color is it?
