weird shut off...?
All right, i'm sure this is nothing major but for peace of mind i'm posting to find out what the problem is. I have a 91 crx si with a lsvtec swap. Whenever i beat on the car (race, test etc.) i have a habit of putting it in neutral as soon as im done and let it coast at idle till i come to a stop. Lately however when i put it in neutral after romping it instead of the car coasting at idle the rpms drop all the way and she shuts off. She'll turn right back on but i gotta keep an eye on the rpms for a lil while to make sure they don't drop again, and i drive normal for a while and she's fine again, but it happens every time i beat on her. My guess is that she's running lean and shes shutting off from fuel starvation but i'm not sure. Any opinions out there can help, thanks for the time guys
Already tried readjusting the throttle cable because before it was shutting off even worse and it helped cuz now it doesn't do it under normal driving, only when taking abuse. Haven't tried cleaning out the iacv but i'll give it a whirl and see how it goes. i'll do it sometime this weekend cuz i gotta install my walbro fuel pump anyway, maybe that'll help too
when i said re-adjust idle, i did not mean the throttle cable.
I meant re-adjust the idle. (there is a procedure where you can adjust the idle)
maybe ill find a link for you later. (it is covered in the helms manuals)

oh, i already messed with that screw to when i did the throttle cable, mine is a lil different though cause i got a skunk2 throttlebody. I have the fuel pressure set at 38 psi, the motor is decently modded and so far the fuel system upgrades i have are aem fuel rail, aeromotive fpr, and r/c 310cc injectors, i got a walbro 190lph fuel pump to but its still uninstaled. i have pr3 pistons in the bottom end and REV flatfaced valves for raised compression so the compression is up there, should i turn up the fuel?

Assuming your car has a recent tune-up and good ignition components, then it might be the IACV. The IACV diaphram has to adjust to allow the proper ammount of air in, to keep the correct idle. Maybe sometimes when the revs drop quickly (foot on clutch) the IACV does not react quickly enough to compensate, allowing the engine to stall?
Try to clean the IACV (spray carb cleaner in it) and then reset your ECU and adjust your idle. let us know how it goes.
