Default Anybody seen these before?

I found these on the net just now: Vortekz Universal Vortex Generators. I think I saw some painted white on a magazine cover car somewhere. Wonder if they really work?

looks similiar to the ones seen on airplanes... but what purpose would it serve on a car? besides disturbing air so the wing holds the car down more....

Here is more:
VORTEKZ GENERATORS
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Description
Vortex Generators are commonly used on aircrafts to prevent downstream flow separation and improves their overall performance by reducing drag. Vortekz™ Generators Delta Wings allow you to achieve similar results on any vehicle you own in only a few minutes.

Vortekz™ Generators can be used on all makes and models of Cars, Trucks, SUVs, Trailers, RVs, and any vehicle where there is downward air flow separation.

What Do They Do? What Does This Mean? Increased Gas Mileage
Reduce Overall Aerodynamic Drag Increased Performance
Reduce Rear-end Air Flow Separation Increased Down Force
Reduce Turbulent Air Flow Increased Top Speed
Allows For Faster Clean Air at Rear Increased Velocity

This is the website I found by accident: http://www.manufacturersdepot....22063

Kinda wierd looking, I guess it would work, I dont know! For 20.00 bucks!

the idea makes sense but whether those work enough to make a noticable difference is the question

I just thought it would make for some interesting conversation. I doubt they work all that well too, and would look even stranger on a car!

Yeah they don't look all that cool to me. I like how our car is shaped, but with these it'd look funny.

Why are they okay for Evos? If Honda put them on Civics what would be wrong? Contrary to ricer belief, Evos aren't the fastest cars on Earth.

I never said Evos were the fastest on the Earth.

Nothing would be wrong, you should get some for your ride. Make sure to post the pics of them on.
