Well, I have had a subaru for about six months now, and I miss hondas something awful so I think I might revert back and get an rsx type s. Is there anything I should look out for, certain model years that have problems. for example the 02-03 wrx's have weaker transmissions. Is there anything that I should look out for in the same respect?

 

No matter what year it is, mostly 02-04. You'll probably have the syncro problem. Sometimes it grinds into 2nd and sometimes it wont fall into 3rd right away. Thats the only major thing I can think of. The 05-06 type s's come with carbon syncros and I dont know if the problem is as common on them. Thats the only major thing I can think of. There are a couple of minor things like, headlights. Bulbs have a tendency to burn out quickly. I went through 4 sets of bulbs in the last couple months and I dont have a headlight leak.

 

Heh, at night me and my friends counted 3 RSX's with burnt out bulbs. All driver too...

 

thanks those are the types of things i am looking for. I miss my honda terribly, the only thing the wrx has is a turbo and I cant even get on it like i want to because the trans is made of glass
