knock sensor

i have a B16A in a 91 hatch and the knock sensor is busted do i have to run one cause ive been told i dont really have to

I don't suppose you HAVE to, but it'd be nice. You do know what knocking is, right?

all depends on what ECU you are running...if you have a obd-0 or p28 then dont worry about it.

if its a dual cam vtec ecu then u need it or you'll be in limpmode. you can have them reprogramed not to look for them. the p28 youll need to have "chipped" for a dual cam

yes you need it if thats the ecu your running so get one off ebay or the junk-yard and be on your way.
