Default Engine idle's drops below 1000rpm and even cuts off

I have a 93 Si VTEC, and the engine idles very low at times and even up to nearly 2000rpm when cold, the engine has also cut off a few times due to the idle rpm falling very low.

It is supposed to idle high when cold, that is a feature of the FITV (fast idle thermal valve)

The car is supposed to idle warm at 750rpm +/- 50rpm.

If it is shutting off sometimes clean out the throttle body, FITV and the IACV. Hit up the search to figure that out.
