Default i kP0301 No. 1 Cylinder Misfire

i have an 96-98 ek, i have replaced all inj, distr, spark plug as well as wires, then the coil, rotor, traded computer, grounded the car more and after all that i cleared and it still comes back as soon as i turn the car on. i cleared the code by a scan tool, pulling the ecu fuse, and just removing the battery cable and still nothing. my last resort is to go obd1 but i dont want to do that. has anybody had this problem and solved it.

have you changed the spark plugs or wires yet? if not then you started throwing some expensive parts at it without doing the easiest cheapest ones first. get ngk v-powers and make sure to properly gap them (check your manual for specs.)

Why did you replace the injectors? were they bad or something?

Check your plug gap, make sure there is no water in the dizzy cap (happened to a friend last night, and had P0304 and P0303 misfires)

Clear the codes, and move the injector that has the misfire to another cylinder, and drive it. If the misfire code comes back, check to see which cylinder it is, if it changes, your injector is the problem. Don't use injectors that sit around for a while without cleaning them. The pintle begins to rust and can stick open or stick close or somewhere in between.
