Default BRAKE HELP!!!!!

Hey my GF has a 2001 civic LX...She was driving for like 15 minutes with her ebrake on.......and now here rear brakes make squeakyy noises when she applys the brakes.....i think the rears are drum brakes...do you guys know the problem????

The pads and drum are probably glazed over like crazy, or the pads are burned up.
Damn. How do you not realize your parking brake is on. There IS a light.

not hard to do, i've done it on autos before, except not for 15mins, more like 10 seconds, you feel the jerk.

yep, the shoes are glazed. Id open the drum, and use Emery/Emory paper (its like sandpaper) on the surface of the shoes to remove the glaze. Then clean the rest with brake cleaner. See if that would help
