Default Aftermarket Steering Wheel Installation

I have a momo wheel that i'm trying to install with a NRG short hub and quick release. I have a few questions. What do i do about all this ribbon stuff?
The short hub seems to fit pretty loosely. The teeth dont mesh up as nicely as with the stock steering wheel. Anyone have a NRG short hub notice that before? Did it end up being ok?
In this next pic what's the point of this white piece on the hub? Hows it supposed to stay there? It has nothing holding it right there, it could slide back easily.
Here is the same piece i'm talking about. It just sits there semi snug but can slide off easily.
And i guess i have to take this piece off right? The hub doesnt seem to fit with it on.
And i need to know how to wire my horn up. If anyone knows where there is a write up that could help then please show me. Thanks.

first of all, if the short hub is loose, then its the WRONG hub...tell them (whoever you bought it from) that you have an older prelude and that you need the 110 hub, not the 130...

next, you should not have taken everything apart like you did...there was no need for it...maybe you can use some of the pictures in my writeup below to help guide you...

as for a write up, heres what i came up with...

Lol the last thing I would want is a "loose" steering wheel.

It should fit perfectly

if you look at this picture here:

this is pretty much how it should look after removing the ENTIRE reel assembly...its the black circular thing with the harness attached and spins freely....it was attached to the column by 2-3 screws...once its removed, you should get something that looks like the picture above...then you'd have 1 complete reel assembly with all that tape inside of it...

it might also help if you removed the upper cover of the steering column as well, as that would help when you are wiring up the horn button...
