97 h22a4 has 50mm mains and all 98-01 have 55mm mains...so youre going to need to find out what year it came off of.
There is one thing that most people do not know....not ALL 98 models came with the 55mm mains....only the ones manufactured IN 98...the 98 models that were made in 97 (if the car was bought between sept and dec of 97 its a 98 model year) have the 50mm.
argh i know its frustrating!

yes turning it will definitely make a difference, though you still won't be able to get it in your 50mm block without a serious line hone or some ridiculous turning down of the mains.

You beat me to it..........damn Honda with their inconsistency! I guess they had to do something with the 97 blocks though. I don't understand why they even changed them in the 1st place.
