collant shooting out the engine
My car over heated and when i popped the hood there was smoke, and then i saw coolant coming out in spurts in the back by the alternator. any and all help is appreciated
kind of hard to pinpoint it but it could range from blown headgasket to just a hose coming unplugged...just try to take a look and find out exactly where it is coming from...shouldn't have any lines that far over...what motor?
check the pipe that runs from the back of the water pump (right next to the alternator) over to the thermostat housing - it may have blown the O-ring that seals that pipe into the water pump
