itr swaybar bushing q'
I would personally recommend using the Type-R swaybar bushing and bushing brackets instead of aftermarket polyurethane bushings. The reason that I say this is because the polyurethane bushings required frequent lubrication to prevent squeaking. Also the Type-R bushings are 5X stiffer than the stock bushings, which is comparable to polyurethane bushings. So you really will not gain anything by using the polyurethane bushings.

I'm sure the ITR stock bushings are more than adequate, though, as Bret mentioned.

But I have also used the teflon tape trick on Ploy bushings. It worked alright I guess.

I have a question about the rear swaybar. I have the ITR rear bar and the bracket or whatever the endlinks connect to is not very sturdy. It looks weak and when you move it around with your hands, it moves very easily. I don't know much about suspensions but is there any reason to put something thicker in its place? I need to take a picture to discribe what I'm talking about but it's dark
Thanks
Aaron

Anyone?
I would be glad to help you out, but I'm not really sure what part you are referring to.
Here's a bad picture of what I was trying to say. I circled it in red. It connects the swaybar to the LCA.
Thanks brett and anyone else that know whats up!

Did you reuse your old ones? I have high mileage like yours and I opted to change out the endlink bushings on mine for new stock ones. When I removed my old swaybar, the old ones were cracked and extremely worn.
yea, i used new bushings. It just seems like that piece in red is kinda weak compared to the ITR rear bar and the LCA. Would it be better to have something stiffer in its place? Just curious?

i havent done this mod yet, but would it even matter if its flimsy, since all its doing is pushing down on the LCA?
