tried doin a search but found no info other than the fact is that the window regulators usually fail....

i just bought an em1 and love it...the previous owner has already swaped out the driver side regulator...but now the passenger side is going. is there any kind of write up or anything for swaping out the motors...i cant find it being to difficult but a diagram couldn't help...

also, does anyone know where i can get the regulator at a decent price...ebay actually has a few of them but i dont know if they're any good.

dude udont need a window regulator, the window just pops out of its place, what u do is take off panel, and ull c thers like a metal guide for the window toward the front of the door, all u gotta do is get new bolts for it, align the window and elbow grease that bitch and ur set

It could certainly be the motor. But it could also be the window being off track..

Take the door panel off, make sure the window is on track and is lubed up plenty well with factory grease or some silicone spray.

If it's no track, and still dying, the regulator is right there. It's not hard to change out.
