Default All B-series tranny cases the same???

I was wondering if there is any differences in b-series tranny cases? I have a GSR tranny right now and the case is cracked, but I found a JDM B16 tranny case for $35 that i could pick up to fix my tranny. I have searched but didnt find any good info. Thanks for your help.

well the hydro case has the bosses for the slave cylinder. The cable has the provisions for the cable. So you would need a hydro B16 trans for your (94-up) GSR.

so the outer cases will not be interchangeable unless it's hydro to hydro?

Exactly, only hydro to hydro, and cable to cable.

well i know that the 99-00 b16 hydro case is STILL different then my 00 LS hydro case.
Reason being is that i tried swapping a LSD from a civic type r, and it would not fit into my tranny.
