I'm planning on purchasing a swapped EK from the states to Canada, but was planning on flying down to the states and driving it up.

If the vehicle has a swapped engine, what kind of things should i watch out for because I'm worried about the OOP (Out Of Province) inspection, safety etc.

Would I have to get the vehicle inspected before like at a dealership.... saying the vehicle is safe and drivable??

I don't want to purchase the vehicle and find out at the boarder that its not safe enough to be registered in Canada etc.

i imported my Del from the states. Check you this website, everything you need to know. I don't know about your province's ruling as far as swapped cars, but here they don't give a crap.

All Hondas are eligible for importation as they ALL meet the Canadian specs. You must be sure you have a clearance letter from Honda of America before you import it saying it has not recalls or that they have been performed.

hey come 2 florida, they dont check ****. and they give away liscences in cereal boxes,lol. seriously.

 

Doesn't matter where I get the vehicle from in the States....I'm just worried about when I enter Canada and their requirements etc.
