Which is the better OBD2 ECU to run for LS/VTEC?
Would it be better to run a P2T (99-00 Si) ECU, or would a P73 from a 96-99 ITR work better?
This would only be for emissions purposes and would be used for short periods at at a time.
Is any one ECU better depending on the compression reached?

i would say a gsr because the lesser compression, i guess it all depends on the cams and compression your running....
9.1:1-10.5:1 go with gsr, anything higher go with type r

I'm not sure, but I believe the JDM ecus do not look for the same sensors as USDM ecus, and may not be compatible with emissions testing. If you have to do a sniffer test you could probaly pass, but if they plug into your ecu I think you are toast

I am using a b16 head, wont a GSR ECU check for IACV/butterflies?

I spoke with Katman, he confirmed this to be true. My state uses a scan tool to check on OBD2 vehicles.
