Tuning an SH
My car is being rebuilt, I am currently putting in flanged sleeves with CP 10:1 pistons. I am also putting in a camp1320 header. My question is after I get it back what sort of ECU can I run to get a good tune since it is an SH (I know a bunch of them are not compatible)? Or can I just do the dyno and get it tuned off there?
so when people supercharge an SH or do any other substantial work to it, how do they maximize their hp/tq? Like what can be used for me to see max potential from my bolt ons?
I have a sh also man and its sad to say that we are SOL.. If you want to keep atts functioning you have to keep your stock ecu. There is no way around it from what I know. For tuning you are going to need a piggy back like vafc, or emanage blue or ultimate. There is something called the efi pms I think that is the correct spelling. that is also a good piggy back.. however I think it is discontinued. Sorry bro we just are very limited being that we have a SH. If you plan on going to very big hp #'s then u will loose atts regardless. At that point it wouldn't matter if you switch to a obd1 ecu.
I got SH too, and I am having problem w/ this as well on which is which for us.. I don't know if switching to OBD1 would not or would damage the ATTS unit/system. anybody knows?

I've seen VAFC's for around $150-200 or so on Ebay and the Emange for around $450 or so. Do you guys think I can live without them just having flanged sleeves with CP 10:1 compressions pistons, intake, camp1320 header, and exhaust? I mean I know I would get better numbers with either of them, but are those few horses worth the couple hundred bucks plus the labor for it to be done? And would not having it hurt my engine at all?
