bah..engine wont even turn over
well. i pulled the head off my car to change the head gasket. so while i did that i tucked some wires in the bay. now the car wont start. the fuel pump will prime, all the lights turn on on the dash and exterior etc. i tried jumping it to another car to make sure it just wasnt getting enough juice. i checked the wires and they all go where they are supposed to. and i can hear a small click at the starter and thats it. i turned the motor over several times by hand to make sure it wasnt binding up and its perfectly smooth. the starter worked fine a few months ago and i dont see how sitting can make it go bad. anyone have any ideas on what it could be? ive been working on this damn car all day and now it wont start, im ready to take a hammer to it
i thought so. was there factory ground coming from the starter, casue i dont have one. so i guess ill add some more grounds over the car and see if that works, i never though of that. i have two grounds off the motor, more couldnt hurt
any more suggestions?
any more suggestions?
check your ground from the frame to the trans. you shouldnt of removed it from doing a head gasket but **** happens. or maybe the ground just got crappy
If your starter is just clicking then its problably broken or has a bad connection. But if youre changing head gaskets then you problably know that already.
