Default Anyone with PIAA H3 bulbs and OEM fogs?

I've had 1 person tell me this combo hasn't effected their wiring or burnt anything but I'd like some reassurance.

Does anyone rock the PIAA H3 ion yellow or whatever bulbs with genuine 99-00 OEM fog lights? If so, how is your wiring holding up? No smoke/burning/etc?

Just curious because I'm thinking about buying them but don't want to risk melting anything.

The bulbs are stock wattage (55 watt), so there is no reason why they'd harm your wiring.

I could've sworn I saw the packaging and read 55W -> 110W.

ninjaedit - I'm only worried because I know they're incredibly incredibly bright so figuring I (thought) I saw the package saying 55W -> 110W kinda made me think twice.

X2
It wont affect wiring.
Even if they were higher wattage, as long as they are wired correctly, and grounded correctly, they wont 'smoke'

That's just a marketing ploy intended to suggest that the 55 watt bulbs generate as much light output as a 110 watt bulb, which isn't accurate. Also, they're good bulbs, but they certainly aren't "incredibly" brighter than the stock bulbs. Their main benefit is the dichroic "Ion Crystal" coating, which produces amber light with minimal output loss.
