Default What mount to buy for swap

Ok got a lil problem. I broke the Driverside Upper mount on my D16z6. as everyone knows the d16z6 uses that dam Aluminum Mount that cost $115 to replace. thing is, Im swapping in a D16y7 bottom end with forged internals...and putting the Z6 head back on it. What mount am I going ot have to use with the Y7 bottom end. its in a 95 civic coupe. thanks for all the help...i just dont wanna buy the wrong mount, and then have to buy another wasting money. later

where are they selling an upper leftside mount for $115? the dealer? it should be about $60 at the part store. also, if you want a stronger mount than the oem, then you will have to go with something like hasport.

haha, nope man. $115 at autozone....we ordered the wrong one the first time, it was only $35-$40....but it was for non vtec engines...only had 2 bolt holes...and it was steel. not aluminum...nothing lined up...its the only honda mount like that. that i know of...its an all Aluminum mount. But im looking for a stock mount to use for now. will be gettin full hasport later. wondering if the nonvtec mount say for like the d15b7 will work??? need somone that knows for sure which will work. thanks

then i would never go to that autozone again, for being retards. your civic is a 95 right. here's the thing, honda only has 3 types of upper driverside mounts.

1. the weird looking one that comes in 96 - 00 civics, but this one doesn't count because your civic is a 95.

2. they have the mount with 3 holes, which are found in integras.

3. then there is the one with 2 holes, which are most commonly found in civics.

that's it, there are no othe mounts.

i have provided you with a link. this is the exact mount that you need. like i said, i autozone cannot provide you with the correct one, then don't shop there.
