Del Sol windshield seal; Dealership or glass company
I have a 95 Del Sol and when I got it there was a gap in the seal around the window. Well the window has a crack in it also so that is going to have to be replaced. The question is do I get this part from a glass shop or will it have to come from the dealer? Thanks for any help in advance.

Just get some OE quality glass from a good glass dealer.
I used to work for a glass company.
XYG and pilkington are some brands to look into.
Most good glass shops will install a new gasket and replace all the trim/moldings.
You're looking at ~$275 installed.

ahhh...my eg has done that here and there as well. It happends over time cause the sun/weather shrinks the molding.
I think but am not 100% sure you have to get OEM on that part. I remember reading recently that it comes with the glass from honda. At least for an EG Civic it does.....

So do I just need the middle piece? The middle piece is cheap, the two sides are pricey though. Here it is on Majestic
