Picked up my 91 civic hatch a couple months ago. It has a b16.
It had some crappy ebay mounts that i took out and put some hcp mounts in.
Car is from Georgia so no rust.

The wiring was all mesed up and fixed all that.

And an ugly valve cover. Not sure what he was thinking

I resprayed it a metallic color. I want to get it powdercoated sometime but this will do for now.

It had a crx dash in but i switched it back for a civic one and installed my integra arm rest. Dash had no tach so i got my old one back and installed that as well

More to come...

In the picture it was on some dropzone coilover w/stock dx shocks.
It rode like crap.
I recently put on my H&R race springs w/stock SI shocks and it rides better.
I know i need some nice shock but for now it will do.
With the H&R springs it sits a little higher but i don't mind.

I sent my distributor in to Distributor King to have them test it and send me out a new one. Hopefully will have my car on the road soon.
I will be picking up an Injen intake this saturday and get rid of the crappy ebay intake that is on it now.

Hooked up my new Injen intake today and ran some wires for the radiator fan to a switch on the dash. Also installed a stock header heat shield.

No rust ftw!

Some interior shots

VW front lip(Needs to be trimmed, came on the car like that)

Just waiting for my distributor to come back from distributor king.

Well, distributor king called me today and said the dizzy i sent back to them tested fine, but they are sending me a new one anyway.
I hope it was the dizzy that was the problem.
My car would start once then wouldn't restart until the next day(I tried this about 7 different days). Then when i drove it, once i hit vtec the tach would get squirrelly and the ecu threw a code 8(TDC code-hence why i returned the dizzy).
I check over the wiring and didn't notice any bad connections. I will bust out the multimeter and check the wires for the TDC sensor again.
I just wonder why it only threw the code when vtec was engaged...
Any input would be appreciated. I have been battling this problem for a month.

Thanks for the comments.
I really want to paint my intake a flat black or something(I don't like the chrome look).
Anyone have an idea why my car starts the first time then won't restart? I changed main relays and added a cheap grounding kit but still have the stock grounds hooked up as well. I am not sure if it is related to the code 8 i am throwing. Anyone?
