2nd and 3rd-Tranny
hey
i jus got my clutch replaced
but i found out that there is a problem wit the tranny.
the gears are perfect in 1st, 4th, 5th
but wen i down shift to 2, i hear a grind
and my gear will shift perfect to 3 because of the new clutch but as soon as i let go of the clutch..the gear slips back out or itll start to grind

Tranny fluid is the obvious first step. Check your clutch master fluid as well. Do some investigating... Could be a syncro.
Do the tranny fluid first, and report back.

x2 i would be leaning more towards the syncro.

Another thought... are you rev-matching your downshifts? Try double-clutching, and see if the grind goes away. If it does, it's probably your syncro. If you are good at double clutching, who cares if your syncro is out. Drive it anyway.
