i have always thought (still do) that the D16Z6 was a 1.6 L SOHC VTEC. am i wrong? i keep seeing poeple post stuff about a 1.5L SOHC VTEC? i'm confused. my rex has an engine from a 95 civic ex. D16Z6. thank you

 

that would be a 1.6

 

the liter is within the engine code....

b18=1.8L
d16=1.6L
d15=1.5L
b17=1.7L
etc.etc.etc.

they made a 1.5l sohc vtec in japan so that might be what you see. But its like a d15b? The d16z6 is a 1.6l
