Default Installing A/C in 88 dx w/ b16, i need some assistance with some things.

Well to start the first thing i have to ask is if its even worth it

I dont even know what the parts are really called im so unfamiliar with air conditioners, ive never even had it in the 4 cars ive already owned.

Anyways the setup

I got the radiator part with the fan <--- (The condensor i think its called) from a 95 civic hatch so its the half size
I am getting the part that hooks up to the front of the block from a 92 integra ls as well as the pulley parts from the same car.
I have all the piping from the crx including the silver can thing that sits under the radiator resevoir.
And i have the relays from the dx crx (the only ac part in the engine bay when i got the car)

Now my question is after i hook up everything in the engine bay should i have to worry about any problems under the dash, I have no previous knowledge of this thing ever working. Is there a high chance that something under the dash im jacked up like rest of the car when i got it?

anyways someone help me with this summer heat

I'd check the factory service manual on servicing the A/C. It should give you an indication of important components that you might worry about, including under dash.

To be sure - your climate control does have the wiring in it for A/C correct?

Also, I'm sure this is obvious, but you'll need to get it filled for it to work :D

Sorry I'm not of more help.

since you are going with newer r134a condenser and other parts, you might want to get a r134a compressor not the older integra one, I think they switched to r134 in like 94 or so.

Also make sure that the drier that you get is new, you can't leave those exposed to air for more than 24 hours or the element inside gets ruined. It's that silver cylindrical object that goes under your windshield fluid reservoir. And get some new o-rings.

Hasport sells a bracket to fit a 88-91 compressor to the B series block; you would need some sort of bracket to have the 88-91 compressor fit.
