RSX brakes..?
I have a 2007 Civic LX and have an opportunity to get my hands on some RSX Type-S front brakes.. Is this a doable swap and if so direct or is there some modifications I have to do? Thanks!
What size wheels does the RSX Type-S have? I think they are 17" and if I am correct, the LX runs 16" wheels?
Not sure on any of this, but I suggest you check wheels size differences, offsets and rotor sizes. Also, check the number of pistons per caliper and fluid pressures, the LX ABS system may not be strong enough to handle the RSX calipers.
On the surface, I would not think they would be bolt on. I have not heard of anyone trying this set-up.
After you do your research, let us know. I am kinda interested myself since I am looking at buying a Civic LX for my son.

There is no way I am putting my 16 year old son is an SI. He would have it wrapped in a tree in a week. EX would be fine, as would a DX, but my neighbor is selling an LX with AutoTrans. $14,500 for a 2006 w/35,000 is not too bad, but still a little expensive for a 1st car.
